Our
16AAs want to send a big THANKS to the Telluride U19 team for the extraordinary
sportsmanship they showed last weekend. After we defeated the local team on
their home ice 4 to 1 (followed by a 3 to 0 victory for us the next morning),
they insisted on treating all of us to pizza at a local hot spot.
They not only treated the players but insisted that coaches, moms, dads and even
siblings come along. We have a special connection with this team as one of
their players has an older sister, our own Samantha Kenney, who skates for the
CSGHA 19AAA team. Many new friends were made and both players and parents in
Telluride proved what a really first class organization they have. They set a
fine example for our 16AAs both on and off the ice. Thanks Telluride!!!
