The Colorado Select is pleased to announce Hannah Westbrook as the 14U Tier II Head Coach for the 2015-2016 Season. Hannah brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience with her and is committed to providing the best opportunity for girl's in this age group to develop to their full potential. See below for Hannah's bio.

Hannah’s youth playing career began in Laramie, WY on an outdoor rink with boys before girl’s hockey had been established in that area. At the age of 12 she played for Colorado Extreme, which is currently known as The Colorado Select. At 14 she moved across the country to Stowe, VT where she was a member of the North American Hockey Academy for three seasons. Her time and effort on the ice rewarded her with a full scholarship to the University of Vermont where she lettered all four years as a Division I student-athlete. Hannah graduated in 2011 with a degree in Community Entrepeneurship. After college Hannah played professionally for three seasons in Sweden, Finland, and Australia.

Hannah began coaching back home in Laramie, WY with the Laramie Outlaws during the off-season when she was home from UVM. She also coached overseas in Finland working with kids aged six and under and was an Assistant Coach for Australia’s 18U Women’s National Team. Hannah currently holds her Level 1 USA Hockey Coaching Certification, trains and works with several girl’s ages 8-15, and was the Head Coach for the Colorado Fourteeners this past Spring.
