It has been bit of a whirlwind tour for the Select 10U team these past few weeks. The championship run started with a warm-up in the Arapahoe Mile High Meltdown over Presidents Day weekend. Competing in a field of 12 boys teams teams they came out on fire ending the tournament 3-1-1 in second place with the only loss coming in the championship game against Littleton.
The run came to a successful end this past weekend when the 10U team capped off their extremely successful season with a Championship in the C-470 League 10U Division. The win was a dramatic 3-2 overtime game.
Sandwiched in between the Meltdown and the C-470 Championship the 10U team found time to captured the Youth 10U C CAHA State Championship by defeating the Craig Cougars at the Pepsi Center. The team scored with 9.2 seconds remaining in the third to edge the Cougars 5-4. The team joined the 12U MSGHL team in bringing home State Championship banners that will find their new home on the wall of the Edge Ice Arena!
Congratulations the 10U team on all their tremendous success in the 2014-15 season!
